Spindle cottage is a 17th century cottage high on the Mendip hills. Set in a peaceful garden complete with summerhouse, gazebo and a conservatory. Step inside the cottage and you find a world of make believe with carvings of mushrooms, spiders web, birds and mice in oak beams and stone work. A place of charm and delight, a place dreams are made of.
Guests may enjoy seeking for the many carvings throughout the house, set out in the Spindle Cottage quiz, great fun for the children and the not so young.

We have now gained accreditation to the Green Tourism Business Scheme and we are pleased with our Silver Award in our first year but we are working towards a Gold Award. We encourage our guest to help us in our endeavours where they can and maybe pass on some green tips.
